Sports highlights

As a UX designer at Microsoft gaming studios I was tasked with creating ideas for the new ESPN on Xbox 360. I worked very close with the engineers to learn how data provided from ESPN could translate into the UI. HD images and videos were a big part of this concept along with branding for 100’s of sports teams. I helped design the ticker, and highlights real that is currently used on the XBOX 360 version and many derivatives that carried over to XBOX ONE version.

Flexiblity is the key

The team at Bing worked in an agile workflow to enhance entity features for API dev platforms for bing tools on a regular basis. As a result a key requirement for the a new tool called the Entity API control was in it’s infancy and needed further research to evolve it’s feature set. I explored UI solutions and interaction prototypes using AXURE.

Convenience

As one of the premier global mobile brands, Samsung needed to perform research and development on a new mobile arena sports application. I was apart of the discovery phase. I worked closely with Samsung to create ideas with wireframes, full-fidelity concepts and prototypes.

Donate simply

I was involved with the mobile and desktop UI architecture for Amazon smile which is being used worldwide currently. Amazon design templates were everywhere to use for the look and feel but our job was to identify processes to bring the donation inline with the shopping experience. Task flows were created, visual design and landscapes for the responsive aspects of the mobile interface were also explored.

Research

Infield was looking for ideas to bring their in house survey software into the cloud. I took time to evaluate their current model and researched concepts from competitors and existing features they had locally to come up with these. Most of the ideas were simply that ‘ideas’ but a lot was taking into consideration for future development and ideation.

Data analytics

Applied discovery needed a complete redesign of their Data analytics application. I was responsible for creating new tools to help facilitate value in the data visualization and filtering. We explored ways to display large amounts of data and used strong visual design to ease some of the complexity involved with the UI.
