Consumer Literature and Coverage Mapping Paging, Digital & Wireless Divisions - Seattle Washington SITUATION Initially we worked with AT&T paging to develop user manuals for their paging systems along with a variety of other collateral materials, much of it related to in-package consumer literature. While working on these projects, we were asked to design and build out a corporate coverage mapping system to be used by all divisions of AT&T nationwide. OBJECTIVE Our mapping system needed to reflect the corporate identity while communicating coverage detail and the company objective of selling coverage rather than a pager or a phone. SOLUTION A proprietary map information system that communicated the primary and fringe coverage for wireless communications systems across the United States, both local and regional. RESULTS This mapping system was to become a vital part of AT&T's promotional package and has become the industry standard. Similar systems are used by all major telecommunications companies. |
